The Keil MCB2140 Evaluation Board (populated with the LPC2148) introduces you to the NXP LPC2140 ARM7-based family with USB and allows you to create and test working programs for this advanced architecture. A Full-Speed USB Interface, an SD-card interface (hooked up to SPI), two serial interfaces, a speaker, analog input (via potentiometer), and eight LEDs are available. Debugging is supported via the JTAG interface and the included Keil ULINK2-ARM USB-JTAG adapter. An evaluation copy of the Keil ARM development tools (32KB limited version) is included.

The Keil MCB2140 evaluation board connects to your PC using the serial port (for Flash download with the NXP LPC210x FLASH ISP Utility) or the JTAG interface (for program debug using the included Keil ULINK2-ARM USB-JTAG Adapter and the uVision IDE and Debugger).

The MCB2140 evaluation board allows you to experiment with ARM applications and the NXP LPC2140 devices. The included JTAG debugger by Keil Software connects your PC's USB port to your target hardware (via JTAG) and allows you to debug embedded programs running on LPC2000-based target hardware. Using the Keil uVision IDE/Debugger with this device you can easily create, download, and test embedded applications on actual target hardware.
